Charles R. Maddox, 86, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Charles was born August 29, 1934, in Centralia, the son of Phillip and Wilmouth (Schmidt) Maddox.
Charles is survived by one son: Jeff Maddox and wife Beth of Las Vegas, NV; one daughter: Cyndi Dawkins and husband Don of Effingham, IL; one sister: Phyllis Logan of Centralia; four grandchildren: Christina Maddox, Michael Maddox, Allison Gimbert and husband Sean, and Brendan Dawkins; and two nephews: Kim Logan and wife Lana and Rodney Logan and wife Pam.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents: Phillip and Wilmouth Maddox.
Charles was a member of the First Baptist Church of Centralia. He worked for the City of Centralia for 36 years before retiring. Charles loved spending time out with friends and family. He will be deeply missed.
