Charles “Charlie” Hoffman left us Friday, June 21,2019, at Rochester General Hospital after a brave battle with cancer.
He was born August 10, 1963 in Canandaigua N.Y. to the late Duane and Lucille Hoffman, formerly of Manchester, N.Y. He graduated from Red Jacket High School in 1983 and then graduated Alfred State College. Charlie was known as an awesome mechanic and a friend to everyone he met. Family brought him his greatest joy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Joyce (Converse) Hoffman; four children Amanda (Brandon Klahn) Hoffman, Asa (Heidi) Hoffman, Moriah (Kaid) Green and Skyler (Liz Bulman) Hoffman, all of Port Gibson, NY; sisters Carol (Tim) Simmons of Shortsville, NY and Susan (David) Mawn of Birdsall, NY; He was Poppy to his six precious grandchildren Viola Hoffman, Reilly Green, Charlotte Hoffman, Dalton Hoffman, Jenna and Jessie Hammond. He was the best uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Karen Morphy.
