Charles “Buck” Rodwell Utley, 62, of Durham, died Thursday October 7, 2010. He was the son of the late Joseph W. and Betty Griffin Utley. Mr. Utley was a retired mechanic with Clearwater Hydraulics. He was a former member of Granville Co. C.B.A., president of Granville Grays and a member of the American is survived by his wife, Shelbey Winfree Utley; a son, Jason M. Starnes of Creedmoor; two daughters, Tammy Chandler and Tina Hall, both of Durham; two brothers, Ted Utley of Lakeland, FL, and Joe Utley of Durham; two sisters, Phyllis Currin and Sandra Utley, both of Durham; and five grandchildren.
