Charles B. Pike , 59
Troy Charles B. Pike , 59 ,of Ballina Street died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy after a brief illness.
Born in Burlington, VT, he was the son of the late Albert C. Pike and Thelma (Blow) Pike and husband of the late Kathleen M. Dupree Pike who died in August of 2003.
He had resided most of his life in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School and on the varsity football team.
Mr. Pike was traffic manager for Ross Valve in Troy for the past 30 years.
He was a coach for the Lansingburgh Independent League and Armory Little League. He was an avid golfer and woodworker.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen E. Durkee (Ron LaMountain) of Clifton Park and Michelle D. McNamara (William) of Troy; two sisters, Jacqueline (Louis) Teeling of Troy and Carolyn (Robert) Haskins of Maplewood; a brother, Larry Pike of Troy; two grandchildren, Francis E. and Caitlyn M. Durkee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald Dupree of Dayton, Ohio, Maryann Boland of Syracuse and Anthony Furciniti of Troy and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
