Charles & Betty Clifton October 11, 2014 Charles J. “Chuck” and Betty Rose (Lasko) Clifton departed this life on October 11, 2014. Chuck was born October 2, 1933 in Ordway, CO to Charles C. and Katie M. (Rapjack) Clifton. Betty was born August 23, 1931 in Canon City, CO to Paul L. and Beulah M. (Ellsworth) Lasko. Chuck and Betty are survived by their children, Jim (Cheryl) Potter, Larry (Diane) Potter, and Tammy (Jay) Webster; grandchildren, Tina (Mike) Rose, David (Angela) Potter, Spencer Potter, Bobby Mick, and Danny (Sara) Mick; and great grandchildren, Abby, Michael, and Danny Roe, and Gema Mick. Betty Rose will also be deeply missed by best friends, Gloria Morgan and Sis Carlton. Dads fishing buddy and best friend, Don Connors will miss him also. Betty Rose was preceded in death by her first husband, Sid Potter. Our mom was a homemaker, gardener, and mother to not only her children but also their friends. Our dad was a Korean Conflict era veteran serving our country in the U.S. Army. After marrying Betty Rose he worked at “Old Max” for 20 plus years.
