Charles Alvarez, 89, of Bristol passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday, December 21, 2017. He is now reunited with his loving wife of 53 years, Mary (Martin) Alvarez, who predeceased him in 2011.
Charles was born on February 19, 1928 in Westfield, MA, son to the late Remigio and Basilisa (Garcia) Alvarez. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.
Charles is survived by his children, Kathy Brousseau and her husband, Ray, Patricia Nigro, Kenneth Alvarez and his wife, Shelly, and Michael Alvarez; his grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda, Kristina, Kathryn, Dustin, Jordyn, Jillian, Kayla, and Matthew; his great-grandchildren, Olivia, Dominic, Savannah, and Nora; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings.
