Charles A. Rausch, 86, of West Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Franciscan Health East. Charlie was born on June 23, 1935, in Lafayette. He attended St. Boniface School in Lafayette and St. Francis Seminary in Cincinnati, OH. He was a Franciscan brother for 17 years before he married Judith DeLion on January 28, 1967, in Lafayette. Charlie worked at CTS Microelectronics in West Lafayette for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was an active member of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. He enjoyed stargazing and putzing around his tinker shop. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents George Clarence and Ruth (Russell) Rausch and sister Eileen (David) Boyd. Surviving along with his wife are his children Sara (Brian) Thieme of Lafayette, Steven (Rebecca) Rausch of Conroe, TX, Laura (Michael) Rife of Albuquerque, NM, Linda (Shawn) Sublette of Avon, and his 12 grandchildren.
