Charlene Edith Lee, 92, of Southside passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born June 14, 1923 in Rosie to John and Anna Beth House. She was a member of Salado Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked at Southside School for several years. She was devoted to her family and was well known for her singing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Lee; her daughter, Johnnie Beth Sample; an infant son; two sisters: Carle Roberts and Leona Platt; and a great-grandson, Billy Joe Sample.
