Charleen Kay Lang, 74, went to her Heavenly home on October 13, 2020.  She made her final journey with her children at her side.  Charleen was born to the late Myron and Mildred (Kuehnemund) Willson on July 21, 1946 in Saginaw MI.  Char had a life-long thirst for learning and creating and she mastered every skill that she set her mind to including wood carving, Papier-Mache, crocheting, bird watching and feeding, fishing, gardening and baking for her family and friends.  Char also enjoyed her World of Warcraft community, and she particularly enjoyed beating her brothers at cards and their annual tomato growing competitions.  But her greatest joy was found in her family, especially her grandchildren.

Char was blessed with three children who survive her; Gary (Lori) Julian, Wendy (Fred) Gruszynski, and Monty Mondeau Jr., seven grandchildren; Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jordan, Lyndsie, Austin, Joshua and Tristan, and two great-grandchildren; Liam and Emelia, and two brothers who were her lifelong best friends; Wayne (Linda) Willson and Gary (Lynn) Willson, and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Char was preceded in death by her husband George Lang.

Char was a member of Radiant Church of Bay City.  She found great comfort in her faith and she most recently was studying the Book of Revelation.  Char was an entrepreneur in Bay City for many decades as the owner of Char’s Place Beauty Salon and was currently employed as a tax preparer for H&R Block.
