Charity Brooke Knust, 38, of Bloomington, passed away May 24, 2011. Born, January 27, 1973, in Bloomington she was the daughter of Susie (Winkler) Knust and Kenneth D. Knust. Charity was a graduate of the Edgewood High School Class of 1991 where she was a member of the Music Warehouse. S
he received her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree from Ivy Tech and she was a member of the South Union Christian Church. Charity was very friendly, outgoing and had heartfelt compassion for others. She enjoyed all kinds of music, movies and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her mother, Susie Knust and her fiancée Carl Salyers and his daughter Lyndsey Salyers all of Ellettsville, her father, Kenneth D. Knust and his wife Deborah of Springville, one sister, Shelley Knust of Bargersville, one step-brother, Curtis Smith of Carlisle, maternal grandmother, Clara “Dot” Winkler, uncle, Jon Winkler (Janet) of Versailles, KY; aunts, Cinda Crum (Donnie) of Bloomington, Avis Goldman (Kent) of Ellettsville and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard Winkler, Kenny and Mary Knust.
