Celia Mae Dehart of Blackfork, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Celia was born May 16, 1931 in Beaucamp, Arkansas to Melvin Thomas Richey and Janie (Lane) Richey. Celia was 84 years, 8 months and 28 days old.
Celia was a homemaker for many years. She loved tending to her garden and doing yard work. It’s been said that she was still mowing her own yard even until last summer. She really enjoyed going out and working with her animals and especially her sheep.
Celia leaves behind to cherish her memory, three sisters: Pat Simmons and husband John of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jan Hunt and husband Bill of Blackfork, Arkansas and Betty Thaxton and husband Charles of Blackfork, Arkansas and two step sons: Randy Dehart and Roger Dehart. Celia will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and dear loved ones.
Celia was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents, Melvin and Janie Richey, two sisters, Mable Harmony and Louise Workman as well as four brothers: Bill Richey, Bob Richey, Eddie Richey and Charles “Bunk” Richey.
