Cecilia R. (Duval) Tessier 85 of Leominster died Friday March 27, 2009 in Leominster Hospital. She was born on December 15, 1923 in Fitchburg; Massachusetts was the daughter of Louis and Mary Jane (Dumais) Duval. She worked for many years in the assembly department at the former Foster Grant Co. in Leominster before retiring in 1986. She was an avid bingo player and bowler, loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren; she will be sadly missed by all. She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster. Cecilia leaves two daughters Marlene Thibeault and husband Brian and Judith Tessier, one son Bernard Tessier and wife Phyllis, one brother Albert Duval and wife Marguerite all of Leominster. Four grandchildren Tara Gauthier, Paula Carr and husband Jonathan all of Leominster; Karen Cormier and husband Roger of Lunenburg, and Scott Tessier of Los Angeles, California, eight great grandchildren: Tyler Gauthier, Christopher Gauthier, Justin Gauthier, Roger Cormier Jr., Bohdi Cormier, Cole Cormier, Maria Carr, and Dominic Carr, and one step great granddaughter Jocelyn Cormier, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Archie E. Tessier in 1998, one sister Alice Tarbell, and three brothers Willie Duval, Arthur Duval, and Raymond Duval.
