Cecil Gene Linville, 44, of Tollesboro passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Cecil was born in Maysville to Cecil B. Linville, Jr. of Portsmouth and Carol Gasnik Applegate and her husband Brent Applegate of Tollesboro. He was a Tatoo Artist and was an avid Bengals and Ohio State football fan.
Survivors other than his parents are five sons, Weston (Aiyanna) Mitchell of Maysville and Matthew Applegate of Tollesboro, Ryan Steif, Tyler Steif of Ohio and Jesse of Kentucky; a daughter Emily Justice of West Virginia; two sisters, Nicole (Gordon) Sexton of Middletown, OH and Megan Clemmons of Maysville; two brothers David Linville of Maysville and Daniel Linville, Goshen, OH ; six grandchildren, Bentley Applegate, Sophia Applegate, Alivia Mitchell, Carson Mitchell, Zayden Mitchell and Addilynn Mitchell; a fiancé Jamie Lynn Toncray.
