Cathy Camp Lowery, 57, of Newnan died Monday, November 1, 2010 surrounded by her family at Emory University Hospital. She was born December 29, 1952 in Troup County, GA to Marvin & Frances Camp. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a nurse for many years. Because of her warm greeting and genuine concern for patients, she made many lasting relationships in the community. She was loved by her family deeply and she loved them with everything she had. She spent the last couple years of her life being cared for by the ones who loved her most. She fought the good fight and never lost her smile in the battle. She grew to trust her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ more every day. On Monday, November 1st she ran to Him. No more tears and no more pain, she is in the best of care now. Save a place for us-We Love You! She is survived by husband, Joe Lowery; children, Leanne (Chuck) Willoughby, Joey (Rhonda) Lowery; parents, Marvin & Frances Camp; grandchildren, Trey Willoughby, Walt Willoughby, Charlsey Willougby, Megan Sewell, Preston Sewell; brother, Mark (Tracie) Camp; sister, Susan (Darren) Beckom; numerous nieces and nephews.
