Cathleen D’Arcy, 82, of Cresskill passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015. Prior to moving to Cresskill, Cathleen was a resident of Ridgefield Park for 40 years. Cathleen was born to Irish immigrants Bernard and Catherine (Shannon) D’Arcy on February 21st, 1933, in the Bronx. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School. A proud Bronx native, she loved the Yankees, and her Irish heritage. After raising her children, she worked as a bookkeeper for Typeline in Teaneck.
She touched those around her with her sweet and gentle nature. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Andrew G. Lamb, Bernadette Hard (Dennis), Kate Elefante, Kim Lamb, Elizabeth Badaracco (Louis), Virginia Falconer (Brian), her grandchildren, Lauren, Sonya, Kristen, Nicholas, Julie, Melissa, Colleen, Daniel, Brenna, Keira, and Fiona, and her brothers, Frank D’Arcy and his wife Nancy, and Robert D’Arcy and his wife Helen, as well as many devoted nieces and nephews. Cathleen is predeceased by her sister, Patricia D’Arcy and her youngest son, Brian D’Arcy Lamb.
