Catherine T. Pignataro, 89, of Holiday City West, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Ramsey, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. over 20 years ago. Catherine was a Billing/Payroll Supervisor at Dover Elevator in Jersey City, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. and was a member of the Holiday City West Women’s Club. Catherine was also a volunteer at Community Medical Center, Toms River. In addition, she was recently honored for being one of the World War II “Rosie the Riveter’s.”
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Pignataro, in 2000. Catherine is survived by her two children, Joyce Fatovich and her husband Chris of Waretown, NJ, Michael Pignataro and his wife Mary Ann of West Kingston, RI, a sister Dolores Stenz of Wilmington, NC, a granddaughter Laura Ratte and her husband Jason, a great grandson Mason, and a great granddaughter on the way, Emma.
