WINSTED –PATCH – Catherine “Rena” (Veronesi) Patch, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born on September 29, 1925 in Sandisfield, MA; to Richard and Maude (Bull) Veronesi. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 41 years, Louis Patch who died in March of 1985. Catherine grew up in Winsted and attended the Gilbert School. She retired from Fairchild Automated Parts in 1995. She is survived by her children; Shandra (Jimmy) Peck, Lucie (Louie) Martocchio, Richard (Betty) Patch, Paul (Barbara) Patch and Grace (Fernando) Kelly; her grandchildren, Catherine Krasow, Christine Martocchio, Tracie D’Angelo, Elizabeth Hale, Randall Peck, Russell Martocchio, Heidi Davis, Gregory Peck, Richard Bunel, Ryan Patch, Theresa Padin and Amanda Rylander; and 22 great grandchildren. Catherine was pre-deceased by her siblings; Lucy, Richard, Dominic, Louis and Stephen. The family wishes to thank the staff at Valerie Manor Health Care for their excellent care and kindness to her at this difficult time.
