On May 31, 2008 our Lord peacefully took our beloved sister to be with him. Cate was born October 4, 1940 to parents Verune M. Goodenow and Dorothy J. Thompson at Brown Memorial Hospital in Conneaut, Ohio.
Cate graduated from McDowell High School in e1958, and moved to Michigan where she went to school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked as an LPN for 20 years in Florida.
Cate was preceded in death by her father, Verune M. Goodenow, step-mother Gertrude P. Goodenow, biological mother Dorothy J. Thompson, and her first husband James M. Morris. Cate is survived by her twin sister, Carolyn J. Covel, her brother Richard V. (Linda) Goodenow, and her sister Barbara J. (Leroy) Platz.
