Catherine M. Weirbach, 89, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in Gracedale. She was the wife of the late Lloyd H. Weirbach, who died in 1989. Born in Freemansburg, she was the daughter of the late Chester I. and Ruth M. Overbeck. Catherine worked at Bethlehem Steel during World War II as part of the War effort and later at Laros Silk Mill in Bethlehem. She was a member of the former Trinity UCC Church of Freemansburg and enjoyed painting and tennis in her youth. Survivors: are three children, Donna L. Chubb and her husband Larry of Walnutport, Keith C. Weirbach and his wife Paula of Adamstown, PA, and Debra L. Gares of Texas; 13 grandchildren and their families.
