Catherine Edith Fisher, age 90, of Milford, wife of the late Arthur R. Fisher, passed away in her home on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 with her family and her beloved Atria at her side. She was born on May 30, 1917, to the late Peter and Rosa Kish Cravatas. A lifelong Milford resident, she was a retired Registered Nurse working for the former Laurel Heights and Pond Point Convalescent home. She was also the 1st Female Dog Warden in Milford and was a major fund raiser for the Animal Shelter. She also was a member of the Animal Auxiliary and Rescue Shelters. Her beloved Great Dane “Brenda” won best in show in 1957. Mrs. Fisher is survived by her devoted daughter Caren RoseLynn Jasinski of Shelton. She is also survived by a son Peter A. Fisher of NC, sister Elaine Nixon of Largo, FL, grandchildren Paramedic Johnnie J. Jasinski III, Peter Arthur Jasinski and Cory Fisher, 4 great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by a brother Leonard Cravatas.
