Catherine Elizabeth “Betty” Willey went to heaven Sunday, July 2, 2017. She was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia Canada on March 1, 1941. Her late parents Joseph B & Ida McKinnon raised her and her sister Gail MacKinnon (Roger) and (late) brother C. Richard McKinnon in Andover and Lawrence, MA where they attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Schools.
“Betty”, as she was preferred to be called and nicknamed by her favorite Grandmother Deveaux-Gracie, had many jobs in her lifetime but always said her dream job was to ‘be a Mom’.
She raised her children in Derry, NH by way of Montreal Quebec, Canada. Then in her later years she lived seasonally in Clam Harbour, NS Canada and Union Point, GA with the love of her life George A. Willey. She worked as a cook at Ingles deli in Greensboro and was also a well known Quilter.
