She died at 1:40 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in St. Augustine Home for the Aged, Indianapolis.
Born Feb. 7, 1910, in Peru, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Angeline Mattiaccia Bessignano. She was married Oct. 26, 1929, in Peru, to Nicholas Pasquale, who preceded in death Aug. 7, 1996.
Catherine lived most of her adult life in Logansport, raising her family. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at Logansport High School, retiring in 1973.
Catherine enjoyed cooking and serving her family.
Surviving are four children, Rosann and Ken Haines, Westfield, Jim and Sherry Pasquale, Logansport, Mary and Gene Miller, Fishers, and Margaret and Ron Fouts, Elloree, S.C.; one brother, Dominic Bessignano, South Bend; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, one daughter, one grandson, and four sisters.
