Catherine Asch, 72, of New Buffalo, died Thursday, July 13, 2006 in Michigan City, Indiana.Catherine was born February 20, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Salvatore and Antonia (Ciaccio) Murabito. She married Victor Asch on May 14, 1953 in New Buffalo and was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church in New Buffalo. Catherine loved to cook, work on craft projects and travel. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Victor; children, Clifford Asch of New Buffalo; Dale Asch of New Buffalo, Jay Asch of New Buffalo and Karen Asch of Kalamazoo, Michigan; grandchildren, Amanda, Christina, Nicole, and Brandon.; great grandchildren, Victoria, Sophia and Aiden; and her sisters, Marie (John) Fowler of Ft Myers, Florida and Rose Sebert of Niles, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Robyn Asch, brothers, Anthony, Vito and Joseph, and her sister, Ida.
