Muncie – Catherine Ann Ricketts, 78, passed away February 8, 2013, at Liberty Village following an extended illness.
Catherine was born in Crooked Creek County, Illinois on December 5, 1934, the daughter of Jesse and Alma Mae (Duvall) Ricketts, and was a graduate of Eaton High School in 1951.
Ms. Ricketts worked for many years as a cook for Muncie Public Schools and Camp Crosley. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus where she loved to play bingo.
Survivors include her six children, Laura Sue Bornman, (significant other-Robert Dwaine Arnold), St. Petersburg, Florida, Mary Ann Eckrich, (special friend-David Schultz), Muncie, Janet Casperson, Ft. Wayne, April Moreillon, (husband-Sean), Muncie, Jesse Casperson Jr., (significant other-Angela Stocker), Muncie, and Donna Casperson, Muncie; a sister, June Brooks, San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tabitha Golliher, Heather Boden, Amy Durke, Chad Casperson, Mary Cervantes, Matthew Eckrich, Tyler Fields, and Kala Bustos; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles and Don Ricketts; and a great grandson, Landon Casperson.
