Catalina Windsor, 87, went to be with our Lord on Monday, May 2, 2016, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. She was born on July 17, 1928, in Chicago, IL to Benjamin and Maria De Jesus Lopez.
Catalina is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Windsor.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Luz Maria Sanchez (Felix), Carlos Aguilar (Angie), Joe Aguilar (Linda), and Laura E. Aguilar; grandchildren, Gladys Sanchez, Catalina Mireles, Felice Briggs, Melinda Williams, George Aguilar, Ashley Aguilar, Joey Aguilar, Jonathan Aguilar, and Laura K. Aguilar; great grandchildren, Jeremiah Gonzalez, Felix Holloway, Jeanette Mireles, Elena Catalina Mireles, Elijah Mireles, Jude Briggs, Luke Briggs, Belen Briggs, James Francis Briggs, and John Williams; and faithful companion of 44 years, Eleuteria “Lute” Martinez.
Our beautiful and caring mother was a self made talented entrepreneur. She founded and ran Aguilar’s Super Flea Market for 40 years. She left a legacy that touched all who knew her and everywhere she went. Our mother will be greatly missed.
