Casey Dwain Moe, age 34 of Beaverton and formerly of Sanford, died at the MidMichigan Medical Center on Thursday, August 22, 2013.

The son of Robert and Sandra (Bowland) Houghtaling was born on September 15, 1978 in Midland. He graduated from Benzie High School in 1997. Casey had worked for Midland Oxygen and was close with many of his customers. He was currently employed with Lake Painting as a painter.

On August 4, 2012 he married the former Maria Bissonnette at the Billings Bible Church. He had a passion for serving his Lord and sharing his passion of Christ with family and friends. He coached the West Town Softball team for many years and was an assistant coach for the Midland Thunder of the Midland Community Center Wrestling Club. He was an active member of the Billings Bible Church where he played the guitar in the Praise Band and enjoyed music.

Casey is survived by his wife, Maria Moe; parents, Robert Moe of Midland and Sandra (Gary) Houghtaling of Beulah, MI; sons, Dakota Moe, Eliasz Jones; daughters, McKenzie Moe and Ivy Jones; brothers, Josh Houghtaling of Buckley, Cory Moe of Sanford, Robbie Fischer of Bay City, Brad Fischer of Edenville, and Kevin Moe of Beaverton; sister, Kari (Pete) Betchik of Madison, Ohio; and Takisha Herman, the mother of Dakota and McKenzie.
