Carter “Wayne” Dobbs, 54, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, June 16, 2013.
Wayne was born on January 6, 1959, to his parents, Reverend Carter R. and Carolyn (Koger) Dobbs. He lived his entire life in Muncie where he attended city schools and was a 1977 graduate of Muncie Southside High School.
Wayne married Pamela Sue Nixon on November 14, 1981, and reared two children from their union. His working career included: Bradburn Oldsmobile, Frank’s Foundry and Duffy Tool and Die until his deteriorating health forced him into disability at a young age.
Wayne was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rev. Ross and Jewell Dobbs, and his maternal grandparents, Hershell and Henrietta Koger.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Pamela Sue Dobbs, Muncie; two children, Tasha Lyn (Dobbs) Cook, (husband-Gary), Louisville, and Justin Wayne Dobbs, (Fiancée-Brittney Gee), Muncie; his parents; and two grandchildren, Arianne and Tyler Eads, Louisville.
