Carson Fleming

April 2, 2002 – November 26, 2019

Carson Scott Fleming of Prattsville, Arkansas was born April 2, 2002 in Little Rock, the son of Derric and Tina Davis Fleming. Carson was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan and was a part of the Yellowjacket Nation as a Senior in Sheridan High School’s Class of 2020. It’s hard to list all of the things that Carson participated in, because it’s basically endless. If it was a sport, he had likely participated in it, and even more likely, excelled in it…and then moved on to the next one. Among those, was baseball, football, soccer, boxing (with a black eye to prove it), bullriding, trap shooting, duck hunting, fishing, and with his great energy and talent, a member of the Sheridan High School Cheerleading team, as well as Cheer City United Coed All-Star cheer team.  He had tons of friends, and was blessed with an incredible family, that he loved, and who loved him just as much. Carson had a special bond with his brother and sister, and they were the best of friends. Some people live many years, and not much life. Carson, however packed so much life, into not so many years. He leaves a rich legacy of being a proud Christian, a cherished son and brother, and a friend to everyone he met.

Carson died Tuesday, November 26, 2019, near Sheridan, as a result of an automobile accident. He was 17 years old. He was preceded in death by a special Uncle, Roger Metzger.

Survivors include his parents, Derric and Tina Fleming; brother, Bay Fleming; sister, Danielle Fleming; bonus sister, Shelby Metzger Fleming; grandparents, Wayne and Judy Davis, Dorsey and Ann Fleming, Shirley and Roy Brown, all of Sheridan; aunts and uncles, Teri and Delbert Brookshire, Robert and Cindy Fleming, Tonya and Tim Maxwell, Liz Lybrand, Jeff Lybrand, Allen and Paula Fleming, Rick and Teresa Shaw, and special Aunt, Michelle “Shelbo” Metzger. Carson is also survived by numerous other family members, and countless numbers of friends.
