Those left to honor Carroll’s memory are his wife, Patricia of Newton; son, Christopher S. (and Christine) Peery of Newton; his daughter, Lori D. (and Craig) Davis of West Des Moines, Iowa; 4 grandchildren, James Sutton, Rose Davis, Craig Davis, Jr. and Claire Peery; and his nephew, Craig Sparks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Pearl B. (Zickle) Peery and his 2 sisters, Lorene L. De Kock and Leah V. Sparks.
Carroll worked for 24 years for the Iowa Department of Transporation in Highway Maintenance, retiring in 1987.
He served his country in the U.S.
