Carroll D. Trotter, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away June 9, 2012 at Community Hospital North. He was born December 14, 1923. Carroll retired from his job as a teacher at Lawrence Township Schools after 38 years. He held a Masters’ Degree in Education from Butler and was also a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served in Italy during WWII and received a Purple Heart.
Mr. Trotter is survived by his wife Betty (Weaver) Trotter, whom he married on September 18, 1946 in Indianapolis; daughter Susan (Tom) Fugate of Fishers; grandchildren Alison and David Fugate; and brother Charles (Wilma) Trotter of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his son David Trotter.
