Carolyn Sue Carpenter Craig, 68, Anderson, passed away November 29, 2009 at her daughter’s residence after a brief illness. Carolyn was born May 5, 1941 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life. She was a Walgreens photo technician and Hallmark specialist. Carolyn was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Pendleton American Legion and Pendleton Women’s Auxillary.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Scott Craig Polo of Houston, Texas, Phillip Todd Craig of St. Louis, Missouri, Melanie Joy Wisner Jon of Knightstown, Matthew Troy-Thomas Craig of Anderson, John Oren Craig Jr. Margaret of Muncie, Michael Allen Craig of Florida and Steven Lee Craig Debra of Portland; siblings, Sandy Robinson of Florida, Francis Carpenter of Anderson, Mike Carpenter of Anderson and Mary Evans of Anderson; special friend, Linda Sloan of Anderson; grandchildren, Burias Patrick Wisner, Brachelle Joy Wisner and several other grandchildren and a large extended family.
A special thanks to Dr. Ash and the staff at St. John’s Cancer Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Oren Craig Sr. in 1987; parents, William Luther & Helen Lee Carpenter and brother, Tommy Lee Carpenter.
