Carolyn Love Simpson, 84 of Birmingham passed away on August 29, 2010. Mrs. Simpson was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Estelle Love; her husband, Ernie Simpson; brothers, Leo, Jr., Eddie and Gerry Love; sisters, Leona Thompson, Gladys Cross and Mary Alice Rotollo. She is survived by her daughters, Lynne McCollister (Tom) of Trussville and Kim Mathis (Gary) of Millbrook; Her son, S.E. “Bubba” Simpson, Jr., (Pam) of Branchville; Grandchildren, Mike McCollister (Mary Helen) of Boston, Jenny Auvil (Jeremy) of Trussville, Mark McCollister (Ginny) of Trussville, Brooke Kyle (Jason) of Fultondale, Haley Garrett (Jason) of Moody and Galen and Katy Mathis of Millbrook. Great grandchildren, Gordon, Mary Varden and Caroline McCollister, James and John Auvil, Abbi Kyle and Blake and Tripp Garrett.
