Carolyn S. Gwinn, 83, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, joined the Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2024, after a short illness. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Gwinn of 63 years; sons, Michael Gwinn (Bonnie), Christopher Gwinn (Kena); daughter, Kathryn Gwinn; and grandson, Bryan Gwinn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Lavinia Shuman.
Carolyn was a long-time member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 130, for over 50 years. She was a lover of life.
