Carolyn S. Spencer Mousa, 75, Anderson, died July 17, 2009 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson, Indiana after a brief illness. She was born December 10, 1933 in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident. Carolyn retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1993 after 41 years of service. She was affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include her children, Marc Mary Gardner of Westfield, Bart Linda Mousa of Anderson and Virginia Prather Danny Perez of Brandon, Florida; loving companion, Robert E. Swango of Anderson; grandchildren, Angel Gardner, Carrie Gardner, Brooke White, Amber Lancaster, Brandi Mousa & Brian Prather; great grandchildren, Caytie Vickery & Christian White; and a nephew, Britt Bengtson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Herman & Beulah Ricketts Spencer; a son, Glenn D. Mousa; and a sister, Barbara Bengtson. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Robert D Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
