Muncie – Carolyn R. (Essex) Robertson, 64, passed away at her home following an extended illness.
Carolyn was born to J. B.and Della Essex in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She moved to Muncie with her family as a young girl. Carolyn was a loving and devoted mother, grandma, Great Grandma, sister and friend. She loved to do crafts, go to the casino, and be around her family.
She is survived by a son, David Parks Jr. (wife-Lydia), Muncie; three daughters, Brenda Noble, Peggy Meadows, (Fiancé-Danny Cook), and Barbie Longfellow, (husband-Carl), all of Muncie; two sisters, Bert Gregory and Linda Cravens; four brothers, Gene, Doug, Roscoe, and Timmy Essex; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 24 years, Richard Robertson; two brothers, Jimmy and Bill Essex; and a sister, Helen Morton.
