Carolyn Michelle (McDaniel) Hart, 58, of Middletown, beloved wife of Calvin B. Hart for thirty-nine years, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 15th at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Lorene (Hoggard) McDaniel, Jr. Carolyn lived in Middletown since 1973 where she graduated Middletown High School and met and married her husband. She was an evangelist at New Jerusalem Christian Center where she was very active. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining, singing, cooking and being with family and friends. Carolyn truly enjoyed life and will be missed by many. Along with her husband, she is survived by three children, Darnell B. Hart, Ivan L. Hart and Yalonda D. Hart, all of Middletown; four grandchildren, S’Nani, Darrence, Josiah and Dasia Hart; four brothers and five sisters, Warren C. McDaniel, Harry L. McDaniel, III, Ronald E. McDaniel, Danny M. McDaniel, Sheila A. McDaniel, Patricia C. McDaniel-Ventre, Kathleen S. McDaniel, Denise V. McDaniel and Nina L. McDaniel, all of Middletown; a very dear friend, Anita Harris of Augusta, GA and a dear cousin, Ann Hart of Cromwell and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
