Mrs. Carolyn Smith, age 73 passed away on November 18, 2014, at her residence in Hogansville, Georgia. She was born on October 10, 1941, in Newnan, Georgia to the late Mr. Ance L. Denny Sr. and Lucille Phillips Denny. Along with her parents Carolyn is preceded in death by her sister Mary Ann Denny, brother Tommy Denny, sister-in-law June Denny, former husband Robert Grady Fields, husband Harold Smith, grandson Nicholas Fields, and granddaughter Mary Katherine Yawn. She is survived by her son Donald Grady Fields, his wife Joyce Buck, and their children Carrie Buck, Nissa Buck, and granddaughter Allie; son Robert Malone Fields and his wife Amanda Fields; daughter Carole Michelle Yawn, her husband Harold Yawn, and grandchildren Morgan and Clint; brother Andy Denny and his wife Cynthia; several cousins, nieces and nephews. For the most part of her life, Mrs. Smith worked in the healthcare field. She was a practical nurse and specialized in care for the elderly. Mrs. Smith had worked in several health care facilities and had also done private health care in Coweta County.
