Carolyn Louise Conway Midkiff, age 79, passed away on Sunday at her residence. Born in Henrico County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Hoke Jennings Conway and Esline Mills Conway. She was a member of the St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Richmond, VA and was retired from the Wayne County Public Schools as a teacher’s assistant with over 30 years of service.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Midkiff; a son, Bobby Midkiff and his wife, Susie; a daughter, Robin M. Carver; a sister, Brenda Rogers; sister in law, Jean Conway; brother in law, Floyd Myers; three grandchildren, Amanda C. Whitehurst and her husband, Matt, Andrew Foley, Jessi Solley and her husband, Justin; three great grandchildren, Connor Banks Whitehurst, Lily Foley, and Brooklyn Foley; “adopted” family, Jimmy & Jackie Jones and their daughters, Shelby & Emily.
