Carolyn Liddell Tidwell Gray, 78, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at her home in Oxford, MS..M….M. prior to the service at the church. Born in New Albany, MS, to the late Willie Holloway and Hazel Churchill Tidwell, Mrs. Gray was retired from the University of Mississippi where she worked as a secretary in the Natural Products Center. She formerly worked for the United States Attorney and the Soil Conservation Service. She was a member of North Oxford Baptist Church where she taught 2nd grade Sunday School for over 40 years and participated in the WMU and the Ladies Prayer Group. Mrs. Gray took great delight in her grandchildren and even retired to keep her grandchildren. She regularly cooked Sunday lunch for her family and always took a family vacation to Branson each year. In the past, she enjoyed making wedding cakes for others..Survivors include her husband, W.D. Gray of Oxford, MS; daughters, Donna Gossett and her husband, Barry of Oxford, MS, Julie Reeves and her husband, Clay of Oxford, MS and Carol Gray, also of Oxford, MS; sister, Kathy Brewer of Oxford, MS and five grandchildren, Hunter, Josh and Luke Gossett, Katy Reeves and Anna Reeves.
