Carolyn Hall Stricklin, 74 of Fairmont passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah, WV. God relieved her of all pain and suffering as He gently called her home. She was born in Grafton December 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Eli and Frances Lewis Lash.
A loving mother and grandmother, Carolyn enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and she loved her family. After graduation, she was employed by Westinghouse for over thirty years. Carolyn was an active Union member and served as Secretary, there she worked hard and many of her co-workers loved and respected her.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Denise Coppola of Roanoke, VA, Timmy Hall and wife Sheron, Sterling, VA, Thomas Hall, Fairmont; nine grandchildren, Tim Hall, Jr, Terrance Hall, Amber Thomas and husband Broderick, Brittney Hall, Thomas Hall, ll, Jovaughn Hall, Ron Jones, Jr, Anthony Reynolds, and Antonio Reynolds; seven great-grandchildren, Evalynn, Vivienn, Adeola, Jaali, Braylon, Brodrick, and Javier’e.
While her passing has left a deep hole in our hearts, Carolyn’s spirit and legacy of love will live forever.
