Carolyn E. (Bishop) Nelms, 76, passed away Thursday Oct. 8, 2015 in Greenwood. She was a resident of Greenwood. Carolyn was born Nov. 4, 1938 in Catlin, Illinois to Benjamin and Ruth M. (Carson) Bishop.
She was employed with Frito Lay as a quality control inspector for 28 years, retiring in 1983. Carolyn enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Michael “Mick” Nelms of Greenwood, two children, Donnie Lucas of Indianapolis and Ronnie Lucas of New Palenstine, two step-children, Andy Nelms of Greenwood and Lisa Bragg of Ohio and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Tammy Jo Lucas Kriech and three sisters, Peggy Gillan, Patty Marco and Jessie Lucas.
