Carolyn Yoars Arooth, of Phoenix, passed away June 22, 2011. She was born in Marion, IN. She had been confined to her home for nearly a year, due to a heart condition. After the death of her father, when she was eight years old, she and her mother moved to AZ, settling in Mesa. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BA Degree a year later, received her Masters Degree. Carolyn taught school in Silver Springs, MD, a suburb of Washington, DC. She returned to AZ and taught Special Education for the Scottsdale School District. She enjoyed trips to Europe and the Hawaiian Islands. She is survived by her daughter Susan Wesley, of Laguna Niguel, CA. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
