Carolyn Ann Mahlman, nee Gray, 69, of O’Fallon, IL, born Sunday, June 20, 1948 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away at Memorial East Hospital on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Carolyn retired as a retail clerk.
She was a graduate of St. Teresa’s Alumni Class of 1966. Carolyn cherished the time spent with family and enjoyed making memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen Gray, nee Eversmann. Surviving are her husband, Leroy Mahlman; two children, David (Raylene) Lindley of Waterloo, IL, Laurie (Mike) Phillips of Lebanon, IL; three sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Bowen of Smithton, IL, Cherie Gray of St. Louis, MO, Kathy (Jim) DeFranco of Caseyville, IL; one brother, Robert (Roberta) Gray of Wildwood, MO; seven grandchildren, Amanda Burgess, Rebecca Hansen, Jacob Lindley, Ashley Missey, April Phillips, Allison Phillips, Alexandra Phillips; and eleven great-grandchildren.
