Survivors include two sons, Robert Burton, Muncie, and David Schwartzkopf, (fiancée – Elizabeth Jones), Muncie; an adopted son, Russell Branson, Muncie; two brothers, James Russell Byrd, Muncie, and Kenneth Ray Byrd, (wife – Mary), Muncie; a sister, Mary Kathrine Byrd, Muncie; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, J. C. Byrd, and two sisters, Estelle Heath, and Eula Armstrong.
