Caroline Sue (Spring) Collins, 70, of Powellton, WV passed away Saturday August 10, 2013 at the CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, WV following an extended illness. She was born November 30, 1942 in Clarksburg, Harrison County, the daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Spring. Caroline graduated from Bristol High School. She was a homemaker and a long-time resident of Koupal Towers. Caroline will always be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister,aunt and excellent cook. Caroline was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Everett “Wink” Collins Sr., two brothers, Carl Spring and Frederick “Babe” Spring and one sister, Mildred Duncan. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kay Collins, Logan, WV and her son Arnold Everett Collins Jr. and wife Debbi, of Cool Ridge, WV; Three grandchildren, Justin Collins of Powellton, WV, Jacob Grimes of Beckley, WV and Lauren Martel of Minnesota; Four sisters Beverly Rebrook, Diana Matthey, Linda Stewart, and Lola White; One brother, Tom Spring; and several nieces and nephews.
