Carole Margaret (Ochandarena) McQueen passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the age of 73. Carole was a native of Wellington New Zealand and came to the Unites States as a baby during World War II. She resided in Florida for most of her life and was a giving, loving and outgoing woman who never met a stranger. She was an inspiration to many and a true example of a Godly woman. She devoted her life to being a minister’s wife, mother and grandmother. Carole is preceded in death by her husband Reverend Spencer Dwight McQueen, mother and father; Berlin W. and Eunice Ochandarena and her sister-in-law Barbara leaves behind a brother; Doug Ochandarena of Fairfield, California; daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Chris Bisbe of Salisbury, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Laurie McQueen of Saint Petersburg, Florida and daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Tony Ogelsby of Concord, North Carolina. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; Steven Anderson-Lahaina, HI; Kayla McQueen-Tallahassee, FL; Zachary McQueen-Tallahassee, FL; Courtney Bisbe-Raleigh, NC; Parker McQueen-Saint Petersburg, FL; Cameron Bisbe-Salisbury, NC; Mara Ogelsby-Concord, NC; Elijah Ogelsby-Concord, NC.
