Port St. Lucie, Fl. —Carol Voytovich, a long-time resident of the Port St. Lucie area from 2003. Carol passed away Wednesday the 30th of June at her home with her daughter at her bedside.
Born in 1951 in Hartford, CT., Carol was the first of three children born to Anthony & Mildred Schraffa. In 1972, Carol left Newington, CT. for Ft Lauderdale, Fla. Carol thrived and loved Florida for its beautiful beaches and weather. Her family consisting of her brothers Peter and Anthony Schraffa along with her parents followed her to Ft Lauderdale, shortly after her arrival.
Carol’s outgoing personality and knack for sales brought her much success in the real estate field and in the family puppy business she founded in 2002.
In 1981, Carol met her husband to be Kenneth J. Voytovich. In 1985 they had a daughter Ashley. In 1989 the two married and remained so until Kenneth’s passing in 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Schraffa-Voytovich, and her husband Jesse. Her brother is Peter Schraffa and his wife Mona. Her nephews Michael and Anthony Schraffa. Her loving, longtime, and faithful friends are Karen Vazquez, Melissa Ester, Jackie Fazio, and in heaven Suzanne Gronke.
