Carol Louise (McDonald) Liseo, 84, of Portland, wife of the late Joseph J. Liseo, Sr., passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at home with family by her side. Born in Shenandoah County, VA, she was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Middleton) McDonald. Carol lived in Cromwell for forty-two years before moving to Portland in 2009. She worked at Cromwell Crest for twenty-four years as a Certified Nursing Assistant and spent many years babysitting friends and families children. Carol enjoyed sewing and crochet. Carol is survived by four sons, Gary F. Liseo and his wife, Susan of Cromwell, Philip W. Liseo of Garden City, SC, Fred R. Liseo and his wife, Sussanne of Middletown and Paul H. Liseo and his wife, Brandy of Portland; two daughters, Cheryl Parrill of Winchester, VA and Nora L. Kokoszka and her husband, Ronald of Higganum; two brothers, James W. McDonald, Jr. of Winchester, VA and Roy McDonald of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Marie Shanholtzer of Winchester, VA; nineteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Carol was predeceased by her son, Joseph J. Liseo, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Haslacker and Bessie Boos.
