Our beloved mother, Carol Hays, left this life on March 1, 2007 at the age of 68 after a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer. Raising us on her own, Mom taught us life, love and the true meaning of happiness. Her fun-loving, highly energetic spirit brightened every room she walked in to. The adventures she had with friends and family were never dull, as Mom always found joy in everything around her. Survived by her girls and sons-in-law, Tammy & Robert Sullivan, Sandy VanMeter both of Chattanooga, and Sherry & Russ Ferguson of Ringgold, Ga.; Grandchildren, Brittany VanMeter, John & Michael Ferguson; Sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Lou & Al Roman of Ambridge, PA and Patty Boyd of Nashville, son-in-law, Brett VanMeter of Carroll, OH; extended family Ted & Elizabeth Tedeschi and tons of nieces and many great friends.
