Carol L. DeaKyne, 77, of Greenfield, formerly of Fortville, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital.
She was born October 23, 1935 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Carl and Janice (McCoy) Meiser. Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her grandchildren.
She is survived by children: Kevin (Shelbia) DeaKyne of Markle, IN; Shelly (Keith) Given of Carmel and Jon (Lisa) DeaKyne of Noblesville; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and sister Suzy Carnelli of Punta Gorda, FL. Carol was preceded in death by husband James DeaKyne in 1983.
